This is the 1/7600th scale resin cast kit of The Original Series U.S.S. Enterprise. It is the companion model for AMT's K-7 Space Station kit. Being totally unsatisfied with the appearance of the original, I chose to alter and scratch-build a new one much more dimensionally proportionate to the original filming model. I was so happy with the results, that I decided to make a resin kit available from the original master. This is Sirius Replicas very first offering of a resin cast "garage kit". The kit comes with 5 crisp resin cast parts, an optional brass bar for the pylons, instructions and a postage stamp sized decal sheet. Note: the finished resin kit shown in the photos was completed in a day, so I think it could have turned out a little better with a little more trimming, putty, additional sanding and paint. I was really amazed at the decal clarity, and the proportions are fairly accurate, except the interconnecting dorsal could be re-shaped. Overall, a lot of potential for such a tiny scale.
