1/72nd scale C-130H Hercules in Texas Air National Guard colors

This is the Air Mobility Command's primary tactical airlift transport. The model is an Italeri 1/72nd scale kit that my unit purchased and commissioned me to build. Many modifications were made to the flight deck, cargo bay and exterior. Custom decals, antennas, chaff and flare were added to make it accurate to the ones in my unit, the 136th Airlift Wing at Fort Worth JRB. This one, aircraft 85001365, was named "The Spirit of Mark Thurman" in memory of one of our beloved crew chiefs.
