These are photos of my two display cases. Due to budget cuts, I was required to purchase a shadow box for my retirement ceremony after 25 years of service. The first one ended up being too deep, so I had to buy a second one. I decided to use the first one to display all of my various coins from military and civilian service. I wanted it to be able to open, so I had to cut the front off with a band saw to make the door. I then installed door hinges and wooden slats on the inside to hold the coins. The second one required no modifications, but only arranging the many decorations I had received from the Air Force and Texas Air National Guard. On both the cases, the existing background was replaced with black micro-fiber cloth. Overall, I think they turned out pretty good.
